In March 2024, Lola was diagnosed with leukemia, turning life upside down for her loving family of five. After an initial two-week hospital stay, she was discharged home on April 1st, beginning a long road of treatment that includes IV, intrathecal (IT), and oral chemotherapy—a journey that will continue through May 2026.
Her parents have been doing everything they can to navigate the emotional and financial challenges that come with such a life-altering diagnosis, all while keeping the household running and their children surrounded with love and stability. This journey has become one of strength and faith.
Despite everything she’s facing, Lola continues to shine. She loves board games, bike rides, anything pink, Lainey Wilson, Taylor Swift, and diving into a good book. This year, her family is looking forward to planting a garden and welcoming new chickens—celebrating growth, new life, and moments of joy.
In 2025, the Tyler Robinson Foundation awarded the family a Signature Grant to help ease the financial burden of Lola’s care. Thanks to TRF’s Family Fun Grant, they’re also looking forward to a special trip to the Gulf Shores, where they can make lasting memories together.
With a bright smile and a courageous heart, Lola inspires her family and everyone around her. She’s meeting each day with strength and joy—and she’s not facing this journey alone.
