Sarah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in October 2012. She has had 8 relapses. The most recent relapse was at the end of November 2024. She has had two bone marrow transplants and two CAR-T treatments as well as immunotherapy.
She has had all of her treatment at Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada. Her team believes the current best option for her is to go to a trial offered at NIH. Her family is in the process of doing what needs to be done to make that happen. In addition to helping with monthly bills so Sarah’s parents can be by her side, TRF will help with a travel grant to make her trip to Maryland possible.
